Venerdi' 9 Novembre 2001 ( e ripetuto il 14 ) dalla RAI .
Si afferma che '' in base alle fonti accessibili '' . . .
al momento alla RAI non risulta un coinvolgimento
della Societa' Dallah Albaraka con l' inchiesta sul terrorismo
condotta dalle Autorita' Statunitensi ,
ovvero con le indagini riguardanti il network finanziario
di Osama Bin Laden .
Che significa '' in base alle fonti accessibili '' ?
Kevoddi' '' al momento `' ?
Un po' esitante come messa a punto no ?
Comunque meglio di ggggniente .
Meglio del silenzio , o almeno della grande

scrive che l' FBI e la CIA ,
( si stan rompendo la testa per individuare
i canali finanziarj che alimentano la organizzazione
di Osama Bin Laden , AL QUAEDA ) han messi
gli occhj sul Gruppo Industriale Saudita Dallah Albaraka ,
una conglomerata da un bel po' di miliardi di Dollari ,
presente in settori numerosi dalle banche alle assicurazioni ,
alle costruzioni al broadcasting radiotelevisivo .
Qualcuno , sempre secondo il Wall Street Journal ,
ipotizza che alcune banche partecipate dal gruppo Dallah
Albaraka siano state utilizzate da Osama Bin Laden
per muovere i suoi capitali . Sara' vero ? Alla CIA
l' ardua risposta . Ma arriva subito la durissima
smentita dai vertici del gruppo Dallah Albaraka .
E jeri , sul Corriere della Sera ,
l' intervista di Sua Altezza il Principe
Mohammed Al Faisal Al Saud .
Difende sdegnato la correttezza della Finanza Islamica .
A Roma il pezzo del WSJ non passa inosservato
( anche perche' lo rilancia immediatamente l' ANSA
con un take delle 20.13 ) . Alla RAI qualcuno si spaventa ,
perche' il gruppo Dallah Albaraka e' socio
( partner commerciale ? referente d' affari ? )
comunque " distributore in esclusiva " , questo si' ,
d' un prodotto fondamentale dell' Azienda televisiva di Stato .
Piu' precisamente : nel 1995 Dallah Albaraka
ha firmato un contratto con la RAI :
consente alla Società' Araba di distribuire
nei Continenti dove c' e' forte migrazione
Italiana il segnale TV di Rai International .
In altre parole , Dallah Albaraka porta sulle tv
della maggioranza degl' Italiani all' estero il ( cosiddetto )
' meglio ' della produzione nazionale : dalla Carra' al
' Medico di famiglia ' , passando per i TG ,
i Porta a Porta , e tutta l' autoproduzione RAI .
Questo accordo ( dei dettagli parleremo piu' avanti ) ,
in esclusiva per 10 anni , a costo zero per gli Arabi ,
prevede guadagni esigui per la Rai , d' incerta riscossione ,
tant' e' che , forse per prender le distanze dai partners ,
la Rai afferma nel suo comunicato del 9 Novembre 2001 :
' Negli anni si e' aperto un contenzioso che ha obbligata
la RAI a chiedere la risoluzione del contratto ,
e in merito e' in corso un arbitrato presso la
Camera Internazionale di Arbitrato di Roma ' .

In viale Mazzini qualcuno riassume le cose con poche parole :
' In buona sostanza, nel 1995 , la Rai ha dati in ostaggio
i suoi programmmi adatti alla diffusione internazionale ,
in cambio di promesse che gli Arabi han mantenute per dir cosi'
'' con molta parsimonia '' . Insomma , una brutta matassa .

possano vedere la tv prodotta nella Madre Patria .
In realta' la tecnologia dell' epoca consente soltanto
di raggiungere , con il segnale Rai , la costa
Orientale del Nord e Sud America . Ma intanto si dia
inizio alle danze , e poi si vedra'. Il segnale televisivo
Italiano varchera' l' Oceano grazie a uno dei satelliti
della flotta INTELSAT , e una parte degl' I TAL YAni
nelle Americhe sara' piu' felice .
Soprattutto perche' - si sa - vogliono assistere
al Piu' Grande Campionato Del Mondo ,
e per ottenerlo sono pronti a tutto o quasi .
Naturalmente , per cominciare , dovran comprarsi una parabola
di adeguate dimensioni , e una tv adatta .
Ma a venderle loro - e a caro prezzo - pensera'
un' altra societa', con sede in Svizzera .
E' un' altra storia questa ?
Fin dall' inizio le cose non si mettono bene .
Nel Nord America la Tv ITAL YAna si vede , ma cosi' cosi' .
In Sud America poco o niente . Gl' Italiani che han comprati

Proprio in quel periodo i Sauditi
sono in cerca di sedi in Europa da cui
trasmettere i segnali TV di due emittenti
verso i Paesi Islamici .

Le tv si chiamano ORBI e ART ( Arab Radio Television ) .
La ART fa capo alla Societa' Dallah Albaraka ,
governata dallo sceicco Saleh Kamel .
Interpellati , sia gl' Inglesi che i Francesi
declinano le offerte Saudite .
Han paura di concedere sul loro territorio l' uso d'impianti
di trasmissione agli Arabi .
Temono complicazioni di carattere politico - - religioso .
E se poi qualche setta integralista non gradisce ?
C' e' il pericolo che qualche esaltato
se la prenda con gl' impianti di tele trasmissione .

Di Tarek Ben Ammar ricorderemo : oltre a essere
l' uomo del Principe Al Waleed nel consiglio di
amministrazione di Mediaset , ha avuto un ruolo
saporito in uno dei processi in cui Silvio Berlusconi
e' tuttora imputato : il caso All Iberian .
Avete il mal di testa eh ?
Eh si' , la storia e' un po' tortuosa ,
ma vale la pena di concentrarci ancora un po'.
Il processo All Iberian, come i cronisti giudiziarj ben sanno
( ma li invitamo a scriverci dettagli
che sicuramente abbiam tralasciati ) ,
riguarda una societa' off - shore , la All Iberian ,
appunto , che , secondo i magistrati del pool di MILAN NO ,
sarebbe la cassaforte estera attraverso
la quale il nostro attuale Presidente del
Consiglio Silvio Berlusconi avrebbe
compiuta una serie di operazioni illegali .

In particolare , Silvio Berlusconi e' stato
accusato in primo luogo d' aver finanziato
illegalmente il PSI dei Craxi con £it VENTIDUE MILIARDI
transitati dai conti della All Iberian
a conti correnti nella disponibilita' di Bobottino Berlusconi .
Per questo reato e' stato dichiarato
non punibile GRAZIE ALLA PRESCRIZIONE DEL REATO .

A tentar di dare una mano ai Berlusconi e ai Craxi ,
nel primo processo All Iberian ,
ci ha provato proprio Tarak Ben Ammar .
Il quale , in alcune interviste ,
ha sostenuto che quei 22 Miliardi
di £irette Berlusconi li doveva a lui
in ragione di una banalissima transazione di affari :
' Sono stato me a chiedere a Berlusconi di versarli
su un conto particolare . Berlusconi non sapeva
che quel conto fosse riconducibile ai Craxi .
I soldi comunque - ha spiegato Ben Ammar - dovevan
poi esser girati dai Craxi all ' Organizzazione
per la liberazione della Palestina , l' OLP . ' .

Convocato due volte dai Magistrati di MILAN NO
che volevano ascoltarlo come teste , Tarak Ben Ammar
ha pensato bene di non presentarsi .
Quanto ai conti della FINI nvest ,
non c' e' traccia dell' operazione contabile .
Eppure minga di bruscolini trattasi .
Piccolo riepilogo : l' attuale Presidente del Consiglio
Silvio Berlusconi
avrebbe pagati 22 Miliardi ( minga di Euro ,
soltanto di vecchie £irette Italiane ) a Tarak Ben Ammar ,
ignaro del fatto che sarebbero stati passati al PSI
dei Craxi esponenti di punta della politica Italiana ,
i quali con quei miliardi avrebbero finanziata l' OLP degli

Silvio Berlusconi e' imputato di falso in bilancio .
' Avrebbe ' truccati i conti della Fininvest
per far uscire all' estero tutti quei bei SOL DINI .
Ma ora ( 2001 ) come sapete il Governo Berlusconi
ha modificata la fattispecie di reato di falso in bilancio .
Secondo la nuova legge , si tratta di un reato
pel quale proceder puossi solamente su querela di parte .

Spieghiamo meglio per i crapadura : perche' si possa
processare Berlusconi la Fininvest dovrebbe querelarlo .
Cioe' , Berlusconi dovrebbe denunciar se stesso .
Divertente no ? Anche tragico , ma l' e' insci' .

Two weeks ago , the respected political site Rumors Of
War asked me to begin an on - line debate with Arab analysts .
I never debate Arabs because I feel their point of view
on all matters relevant to me is baseless and prejudiced .
I agreed to begin such a debate if
I could choose the topic one , which for once ,
an Israeli doesn' t have to begin with on the defensive .
My subject for debate was : Do The Palestinians Deserve a State ?
After two weeks , no one has bothered to join in the debate .

So here are the major points , which were never
discussed on Rumors Of War :
There was never an independent Arab state called Palestine .
At best , Palestine was a backwoods Turkish province .
Hence , there were no pilgrimages to the " holy "
Al Aqsa mosque . Jerusalem is NOT the third
holiest site of Islam . Mecca and Medina are holy ;
Jerusalem was NEVER mentioned in the same breath
until the liberation of the Temple Mount by the Israelis in 1967 .
The Palestinians and their political leadership bring war
and instability to wherever they reside , be it Jordan ,
Lebanon or in the very territories Israel
recently handed over to them .
No one wants them as neighbors because they are too egotistical ,
hotheaded , selfish and immature o qualify
as a responsible nation . And no one would sign a meaningful
agreement with any Palestinian leader because agreements
are always broken .
Israel learned the hard way , that the PLO's diplomats
have no ethics and lie with impunity .
They will always be diplomats of a terror organization ,
never of a nation , because nations must abide by their commitments .
There is no hope of the Palestinians ever honestly electing
their leaders .
At best , this ragtag collection of Middle Eastern
peoples will accept whatever tyrant proves
the most inscrutable and leads their tribe after Arafat .
The Palestinians send their children to their deaths
to make media propaganda points .
Real nations care about their young .
The PLO and its allied Islamic organizations
practice child sacrifice under the guise of martyrdom .

The PLO has no morals, national or otherwise .
Their sole motivation is to instill hate
from one generation to the next .
The PLO has brought nothing but misery to its followers .
The Palestinians know nothing of the creation of beauty ,
engage in no serious scholarship ,
and pass nothing of greatness down the ages .
Their legacy is purely of destruction .
The Palestinian leaders and their factotums
are totally corrupt , stealing every penny of public
money they can lay their hands on .
No one seriously accepts that financial aid will
actually reach the people .
And no one will make a business investment
in the Palestinians because of the payoffs
and bribes involved in setting up shop .

And for what ? A business that will be shut
down or destroyed by terrorism and civil war ?
The PLO's strong-arm tactics have brought
in just enough protection money to buy arms
and pay the militias , but not enough honest
funds to initiate a prosperous nation .
The PLO and its police torture people they don't like .
They execute people without due process of law .
Whatever Palestinian courts do exist ,
none do so to protect the rights of the accused .
The PLO will not tolerate free expression .
Arrests and torture journalists who criticize the regime .
The PLO offers no rights to women .
Only among its followers in the Christian community ,
can women receive higher education and responsible jobs .
There is no Palestinian language .
There is no Palestinian religion .
Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Koran .
Mohammed never claimed he was in Jerusalem .
The Al Aqsa Mosque and Shrine Of Omar
are built atop the ancient Jewish temples .
The Jews held sovereignty over Jerusalem for 1300 years ;
the Arabs , a mere fraction of the time .
There was never an Arab Palestinian
nationalist movement until 1964 .
The majority of " Palestinians "
according to British demographic surveys arrived
in Israel after 1917 , seeking economic opportunities .

No one is offering to compensate the 700,000
Sephardic Jews whose assets were stolen when
they were forced out of Arab countries in
the 40s and 50s. Israel took in their refugees ,
the Arabs kept their 500,000 in camps .
The Palestinians already have a nation , Jordan .
There , the indigenous majority is ruled by
Bedouin royalty from Saudi Arabia .

The Jordanians had control of the West Bank
from 1948 to 1967 and never once
offered it as a Palestinian state .
Why not ? The Egyptians held the Gaza Strip for much longer .
Why didn' t they create a Palestinian state if there
were Palestinian people living there ?
There is no ancient Palestinian history .
There are no world renowned Palestinian artists ,
scientists , not one Palestinian literary masterpiece ,
no recognizable culture , no inventions ...
nothing that distinguishes Palestinians as a people .
They are neither a unique people ,
nor a separate people with their own history .
The Palestinians do not deserve a nation because
they are not a nation . Period .

forceful appeal for end to Middle East bloodshed .

Pope John Paul II issued his most forceful
condemnation yet of the nearly two-year
conflict in the Middle East and urged the international
community to do more to end the bloodshed .
" When will one learn that co-existence between
the Israeli and Palestinian people cannot result from arms .
Neither attacks, nor the walls ofseparation , nor retaliation ,
will lead to a just solutionto the conflict , "
he said in an address to pilgrims at his summer
residence in Castel Gandolfo near Rome .
He said the international community
should commit itself to " taking a more
determined role on the ground , offering mediation
to create the conditions for a fruitful
dialogue between the two sides to accelerate the peace process . "

The Pope also appealed to both Israeli and Palestinian
leaders to return to the path of " loyal negotiation "
to end fighting that has cost the lives
of almost 2,440 people , most of them Palestinians .

" No matter what ethnic group they belong to ,
no- one has the right to kill defenseless
civilians in an indiscriminate way , " he said .
The ailing pontiff visited the Holy Land
several months before
the eruption of the Palestinian intifada
or uprising in September 2000 ,
which has left the peace process in tatters .
On Sunday , he spoke of his personal anguish
over the suffering of both the Palestinians
who he said were subject to virtual
" collective punishment " and Israelis who live
" in daily terror of being the

che era proprietaria di una banca del Bahrain fallita recentemente ,

verita' :
NON esiste una distinta identita' culturale o nazionale Palestinese .
Cosi' , nonostante il fatto comunemente accettato ,
che esista un popolo Palestinese , voglio riportare
queste dichiarazioni scomode fatte da Arafat e dai
suoi sostenitori quando ancora non si preoccupavano
molto delle pubbliche relazioni .
Il 31 marzo 1977 il giornale olandese " Trouw "
pubblico' un' intervista a un esponente del comitato
direttivo dell'OLP, Zahir Muhsein . Ecco le sue dichiarazioni :
" IL POPOLO PALESTINESE NON ESISTE .
La creazione di uno Stato Palestinese e' soltanto un mezzo
per continuare la nostra lotta contro lo Stato d'
Israele per '' l' Unita' Araba '' .
In realta' non c' e' differenza fra Giordani , Palestinesi ,
Siriani e Libanesi .
SOLTANTO PER RAGIONI POLITICHE E STRATEGICHE
OGGI PARLIAMO DELL'ESISTENZA DI UN POPOLO PALESTINESE ,
visto che gl' interessi Arabi richiedono venga creato un distinto
'' Popolo Palestinese '' che si opponga allo Tzionismo.
Per motivi strategici , la Giordania , uno Stato sovrano
con confini definiti , non puo' avanzare pretese su Haifa
e Jaffa mentre , come palestinese , posso indubbiamente
rivendicare Haifa , Jaffa , Beer - Sheva e Gerusalemme .
Comunque , appena riconquisteremo tutta la Palestina ,
non aspetteremo neppure un minuto a unire Palestina e Giordania '' .
Piuttosto esplicito , vero ? E' perfino piu' chiaro
della dichiarazione di Golda Meir . Conferma quello che
ho scritto nel titolo . E si tratta di una dichiarazione NON
unica nel suo genere .
Arafat stesso fece una dichiarazione di questo tipo , decisa
e inequivocabile , nel 1993 . Questo dimostra : alla fine ,
LA QUESTIONE DELLO STATO PALESTINESE E' UN SOTTERFUGIO
IDEATO PER ARRIVARE ALL'OBIETTIVO DI DISTRUGGERE ISRAELE .
In pratica, lo stesso giorno in cui Arafat firmo'
la '' Declaration of Principles '' sul prato della Casa Bianca
nel 1993 , spiego' la sua azione alla TV Giordana .
Disse : " Visto che non possiamo sconfiggere Israele con la guerra ,
dobbiamo farlo in diverse tappe . Prenderemo tutti i territorj della
Palestina che riusciremo a prendere , vi stabiliremo la sovranita' ,
e
li useremo come punto di partenza per prendere di piu' .
Quando verra' il tempo , potremo unirci alle altre nazioni Arabe
per l' attacco finale contro Israele '' .
Non importa quante persone siano convinte che il desiderio di
fondare uno Stato Palestinese sia sincero e
che sia la soluzione per portare la pace in Medio Oriente .
Queste persone vengono prese in giro .
L' ho detto prima e lo ripetero' ancora :
nella storia del mondo LA PALESTINA NON E' MAI ESISTITA COME
NAZIONE .
La regione conosciuta come Palestina e' stata governata prima
dagli antichi Romani , poi dai Musulmani e dai Crociati Cristiani ,
poi dall' impero Ottomano e , per poco tempo ,
dagli Inglesi dopo la prima guerra mondiale .
Gli Inglesi acconsentirono a restituire almeno
una parte della terra agli Ebrei , visto che era la terra
dei loro Padri . Non e' mai stata governata dagli Arabi
come una nazione a se stante .
Perche' adesso diventa una priorita' cruciale ?
La risposta sta NELLA MASSICCIA CAMPAGNA DI DISINFORMAZIONE
E NELLO SPIETATO TERRORISMO DEGLI ULTIMI 40 ANNI .
Golda Meir aveva ragione . La sua dichiarazione viene avvalorata
dalla verita' della storia e dalle esplicite , ma poco conosciute ,
dichiarazioni di Arafat e dei suoi seguaci .
Israele e l' Occidente non devono arrendersi al terrorismo
concedendo agli assassini quel che vogliono :
il trionfo nelle pubbliche relazioni e una vittoria strategica .
NON e' troppo tardi per dire NO al terrorismo .
NON E' TROPPO TARDI PER DIRE NO A UN ALTRO STATO ARABO TERRORISTA .
NON E' TROPPO TARDI PER DIRE LA VERITA' RIGUARDO ALLA PALESTINA .

A provocative headline ? It' s more than that . It' s the truth .
Truth does not change . Truth is truth . If something was true
50 years ago , 40 years ago , 30 years ago , it is still true today .

And the truth is that only 30 years ago , there was very little
confusion on this issue of Palestine . You might remember the late
Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir making the bold political
statement : " There is no such thing as a Palestinian people . "
The statement has been a source of ridicule
and derision by Arab propagandists ever since .
They love to talk about Golda Meir's " racism . "
They love to suggest she was in historical denial .
They love to say her statement is patently
false - an intentional lie , a strategic deception .

What they don' t like to talk about , however ,
are the very similar statements made by Yasser Arafat
and his inner circle of political leadership
years after Meir had told the truth - that there is no
distinct Palestinian cultural or national identity .

So , despite the fact that conventional
wisdom has now proclaimed
that there is such a thing as the Palestinian people ,
I' m going to raise those uncomfortable quotations made
by Arafat and his henchmen when their public - relations
guard was down . Way back onMarch 31 , 1977 ,
the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview
with Palestine Liberation Organization
executive committee member Zahir Muhsein . Here' s what he said :

'' The Palestinian people does not exist . The creation of a
Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle
against the state of Israel for our Arab unity . In reality today
there is no difference between Jordanians , Palestinians , Syrians
and
Lebanese . Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today
about the existence of a Palestinian people , since Arab national
interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct
'' Palestinian people '' to oppose Zionism .

For tactical reasons , Jordan , which is a sovereign state with
defined borders , cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa , while as
a Palestinian , I can undoubtedly demand Haifa , Jaffa , Beer-Sheva
and Jerusalem . However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of
Palestine , we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and
Jordan . ''


That' s pretty clear , isn't it ? It' s even more specific than
Golda
Meir' s statement . It reaffirms what I have written on this
subject .
And it is hardly the only such statement of its kind . Arafat himself
made a very definitive and unequivocal statement along these lines
as late as 1993 . It demonstrates conclusively that the Palestinian
nationhood argument is the real strategic deception
- one geared to set up the destruction of Israel .

In fact , on the same day Arafat signed the Declaration of
Principles on the White House lawn in 1993 , he explained his actions
on Jordan TV . Here' s what he said : " Since we cannot defeat Israel
in war , we do this in stages .
We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine ,
and establish a sovereignty there ,
and we use it as a springboard to take more .
When the time comes, we can get the Arab nations
to join us for the final blow against Israel . "

No matter how many people convince themselves
that the aspirations for Palestinian
statehood are genuine and the key to
peace in the Middle East , they are still deceiving themselves .

I' ve said it before and I will say it again ,
in the history of the World , Palestine has never
existed as a nation . The region known as Palestine
was ruled alternately by Rome , by Islamic
and Christian crusaders , by the Ottoman Empire and ,
briefly , by the British after World War I .
The British agreed to restore at least part of the land
to the Jewish people as their ancestral homeland .
It was never ruled by Arabs as a separate nation .

Why now has it become such a critical priority ?
The answer is because of a massive deception campaign
and relentless terrorism over 40 years .
Golda Meir was right .
Her statement is validated by
the truth of history and by the candid ,
but not widely circulated ,
pronouncements of Arafat and his lieutenants .
Israel and the West must not surrender to terrorism by granting
the killers just what they want - a public relations
triumph and a strategic victory . It's not too late
to say no to terrorism .
It's not too late to say NO to another Arab terror state .
It's not too late to tell the truth about Palestine .
