Shares in drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline (GSK.L: Quote, Profile, Research) slid more than 4 percent on Monday, dented by news the U.S. regulator asked the company to add new warnings to the labels of its popular asthma medications. On Friday the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said the warnings involved long-acting bronchodilator medicines Advair and Serevent, made by GlaxoSmithKline, and Foradil from Novartis AG (NOVN.VX: Quote, Profile, Research). By 8:20 a.m. shares in GSK were down 4.2 percent at 1,432 pence to track a fall by its U.S.-listed shares late on Friday.
